School Council
Our School Council was set up to enable the children here at Maldon Court to have a say in the running of their own school. In this way, our children have a greater sense of belonging, become more confident when putting forward ideas and develop a greater understanding of the need to work co-operatively for the good of others.

The School Council has representatives from each class, elected by their peers.
The elected members have the job of representing the views of their classes at the meetings as well as all helping with the smooth running of the council. Our elected chairman's job is to run the meetings and make sure everyone has a say from Form one to Form six children. During the meetings the council discuss, amongst other things, any issues which have been placed in the Suggestion Boxes from each class.
Our School Council Executive meet each week with Mrs Guest to discuss ways in which to improve the school. The full Council meet each half term and decisions are then fed back in class and any issues that arise are discussed.
